Grouper signs strategic partnership with Ireland Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI)
Dublin, Ireland 16 September 2026
Grouper is proud to announce a new ongoing strategic partnership with the Ireland Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI), designed to foster growth and elevate the project management profession across the country. With this announcement, Grouper becomes only the third official chapter partner of Ireland Chapter of PMI.
As the leading voice for project management in Ireland, the Ireland Chapter of PMI has one of the fastest-growing membership bases for the profession in the country, growing by 10% on average year-on-year. Today, it supports more than 3,700 active members whose expertise touches virtually every industry sector in Ireland.
Beyond its core membership, Ireland Chapter of PMI also boasts a broad community reach, with its official newsletter distributed to over 6,000 subscribers, and a growing audience of over 8,700 followers on LinkedIn.
To bring the partnership to life, the two organisations are planning a schedule of activities over the next 12 months, including knowledge sharing workshops, educational and networking events in person and online, along with outreach to members through newsletters and project spotlights highlighting client success stories.
Grouper will also maintain a visible presence at the largest gatherings of Ireland Chapter of PMI, including presenting an award at its ceremony scheduled for this October.
Daniel Eagling, President of the Ireland Chapter of PMI, commented:
“From the involvement of Moji and his team in past years, we’ve already seen firsthand the way they operate and the clients they’re working with. The positivity, the feedback, and the enthusiasm for growing the project management profession are what struck me the most.
There’s a strong synergy between Grouper and Ireland Chapter of PMI. We share the same perspective on, and commitment to, advancing project management skills and elevating the profession across all industries.
Between Grouper’s reach into its customer base and our reach within our membership, it’s a win-win.”
Mojtaba Akbari, Chief Executive of Grouper, said:
“This partnership has been a long time in the making. In 2024, I was a finalist for Ireland Chapter of PMI’s Project Professional of the Year award, which gave me an opportunity to get be more involved with the project management community and see first-hand how PMI in Ireland was helping to recognise excellence and share good practice.
We wanted to be more involved, so in 2025 we sponsored the National Conference at the Aviva Stadium. Now, through this partnership, we’re already exploring lots of ways to collaborate and share our experience of delivering projects on the ground.
We’re looking forward to bringing practical insights from the market on topics like stakeholder management, as well as focusing on the transformational aspect of projects beyond simply implementing technology.”

Up to 85% of our working week was taken up with handling recruitment, contracts and offer letters. Now, I would say our admin burden is down by 40% because we’re not hunting through email after email.
Grouper’s way is very helpful and personally I find that really useful because it saves time and at the end of the day, that’s saving the company money because I’m not wasting time searching for information.
We can do it all now: we send one email out asking the candidate for their details and then, at the press of a button, send them the onboarding package, so they know what’s going to happen on their first day.
Our account manager is very, very helpful and will always jump on a call. It could just be a couple of minutes but it’s so much easier to talk to someone and share the screen. Recently, I wanted to amend a field and change the job tab. He did that really quickly. On other systems, I have spent time trying to work something out and perhaps eventually getting there, but it took an hour.
